What are the requirements for the working environment of electric hoist gantry crane?

Publish Time: 2024-08-21
As an important lifting equipment, the working environment of electric hoist gantry crane has strict requirements to ensure the safe operation and service life of the equipment.

First of all, in terms of temperature, electric hoist gantry crane is usually suitable for working within a certain temperature range. Generally speaking, it is more suitable between minus 20 degrees Celsius and plus 40 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too low, it may cause problems such as solidification of the lubricating oil of the equipment and degradation of the performance of electrical components; if the temperature is too high, it may cause overheating of the motor and failure of the electrical control system.

Secondly, humidity is also an important factor. Relative humidity should be controlled within a certain range, usually not exceeding 95%. High humidity environment is prone to rust and corrosion of metal parts, affecting the structural strength and stability of the crane. At the same time, it may also cause damage to electrical equipment, such as short circuit, leakage and other faults.

In terms of air quality, the working environment should try to avoid excessive dust, corrosive gases, etc. Dust will enter the mechanical transmission part of the equipment, aggravate wear, reduce the accuracy and life of the equipment; corrosive gases will corrode metal structures and electrical equipment, affecting the safety and reliability of the equipment.

In addition, the working site of the electric hoist gantry crane should be solid and flat. Uneven ground may cause the crane to shake, tilt, etc. during operation, increasing safety risks. At the same time, the bearing capacity of the ground must also meet the requirements of the crane to ensure that the equipment will not cause accidents due to ground collapse during operation.

For the surrounding environment, the crane should be avoided under harsh natural conditions such as strong winds and earthquakes. Strong winds may cause the crane to shake, overturn and other dangers; earthquakes may cause serious damage to the structure of the crane.

In terms of lighting conditions, the working environment should have good lighting so that the operator can clearly observe the operating status and working object of the crane. A dim environment is prone to operating errors and increase the possibility of accidents.

In short, in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the electric hoist gantry crane, its working environment must be strictly controlled to meet the requirements of temperature, humidity, air quality, site conditions, surrounding environment and lighting. Only in this way can the performance of the crane be fully utilized, its service life be extended, and the smooth progress of production operations be guaranteed.
